This routine gives the country name together with the 2 and 3 character country codes defined in ISO 3166-1 for a given IP (IPV4) address. By default it shows the data of the visitors own connection. An alpha-numeric presentation of the IP address is given if available.

The IP/country data is by default fetched from a server, the database of which is updated daily. Only in the case that the connection to the server is not functional, that data is retrieved from a local file, which is updated about monthly. In that case the date of the data is also shown.
